Note: I am not a PUA. I don't want to be one. It's not my style nor do I want what comes from that lifestyle. But that doesn't mean I don't value and appreciate what comes from this sub. Quite the opposite in fact.
Firsty off, I believe this subreddit should be considered required reading. I consider this, essentially, a more generally applicable form of LifeProTips.
Find me someone who doesn't want to increase their self value, in the eyes of others and their own, and there's someone who won't get anything from this community.
I treat this group and the information with, as a way to better myself, regardless of whether or not it gets me in some girls pants or not.
Before I found this group, I read The Game, and I thought it was one of the most amazing books I had ever read. At that time I was working in sales and the knowledge I took away from Mr Strauss helped me drastically in my workplace. My bosses noticed that I carried myself very differently and asked me what I had changed and I would kind of blow it off as nothing since I didn't really feel like sharing that I was reading a how-to-be-a-PUA book. I also lost about 40 lbs during this time so a lot of them attributed it to the weight-loss but I knew that I would just be a skinnier version of the fatter, socially shy and awkward version of myself.
Going back to how I never wanted to be a PUA... I am a naturally curious person and I love to learn new things, and the whole idea of attraction as a game that can be won was a thrilling prospect. I also love psychology and some of the mental tricks and NLP that I read about in The Game are craaaazy interesting.
Maybe I'm a control freak and get off on manipulation, but hey, to each his own. I have worked in corporate environments and if you don't master being able to control a conversation and influence how others see you (attract and seduce) you won't go far.
Yeah it may seem a little weird to consider "seducing" your boss (assuming your boss is an older male...) but to me most bosses are the AMOG and essentially to progress in the work environment you have to display and build self-value. I guarantee if you take the sexuality out of what you have learned from this community and apply it to your professional life you will see positive changes across the board.
Really the two most important things I have taken away from this community are:
1) The whole idea of living in abundance.
and
2) Be the king of your own world.
Basically you need to have a healthy sense of "I DGAF". If you can act like that with a smile on your face people will flock to you. These two changes in my life have made a huge difference. It has been so amazing to see people (girls specifically) look at me with a different pair of eyes after being able to apply those two ideas.
Really your whole job is to live in your world and show that your world is the best world out there. As soon as you realize that your reality is more funny, exciting, and more amazing than anyone else's and begin to show that... People won't be able to stay away from you.
It's borderline intoxicating when I noticed it affecting others for the first time. I freaked out and kind of lost control of the situation but it was only one moment in time and it definitely showed me what is possible.
If you take nothing else away from this community, I believe those two aforementioned keys you will have you be a better, more attractive, and psychologically healthy person than before.
Thanks a lot guys and gals, I really appreciate y'all sharing your lives with the rest of us. Let's keep it going and help everyone become the best version of themselves possible.
