Still really drunk, so...cut me some slack.

Went out with friends. There was a hot two set at the bar. Grabbed a wingman and went over. One said "we have boyfriends", my friend tried to bail and said "that's cool, nice to meet you" and walked away. I said "awesome! I need more male friends. Where are your boys? I would love to meet them!" One of the girls gave a "fuck I've been caught" look, so I gave them shit for lying. I went back to my table.

Friend 1 brought a guy over and said "this is my boyfriend" (trying to validate), so I befriended him and talked for about 10 minutes. I asked him what the deal with Girl #2 was and he said she was recently single and that he and his girl (girl #1) were watching over her. I asked if it was cool if I chatted with her- "I'm hanging out with 11 dudes tonight. I won't try to take her home or get her number, but I need some non-male interaction". He said no....but walked away.

While in the bathroom, he apparently ran into my bestfriend and told him to "keep me in check", because he didn't want any drama. While he was gone, I saddled up to girl #2 and said "your friends tell me I can't talk to you.". She was immediately interested and within 5 minutes, I was making out with her (to be fair, we both were really drunk-no super game here). Her friend throws a goddam hissy fit and pushes me off her. I have three different wingmen try to come to my rescue, but she keeps yelling at me to stay away from her girl. Her friend is giving me the eyes and telling her friend to be cool, but she'll have none of it. She keeps yelling at me to "buy my drink and leave". I looked at girl #2 and said "your friend clearly doesn't like me, how about you give me your number and we can see if there's anything here when we're both sober" and her friend literally yelled over her friend trying to give me her digits so I couldn't hear them.

I finally gave up and bounced with my friends. The two girls (and the lame ass dude) left and (presumably) went home. I've never been angrier to be sleeping alone.

Was there ANYTHING I could have done there? Or did I just pick the wrong target?

tldr: Worst. Cockblock. Ever.
