This is the first time I've gone on an actual date. So after some brief text game I asked her out for coffee on a weekday.

She had to work early the next day, which meant date duration was limited to 1.5 hrs.

My goal was to get a kiss, so I knew I had to introduce touch from the start. Problem was that there were too few opportunities. In the 3 minute walk to the cafe I managed to briefly touch her neck/shoulder a few times, but in the cafe the seats were little armchairs, so it felt kind of awkward to reach. A big mistake was not sitting adjacent to her. I tried touching our feet, but it failed and she kept readjusting.

We bonded over a great talk while time quickly flew by. On the 3 min walk back I realized I had gotten nowhere in terms of touch. When finally hugging goodbye, I tried to hold our stance, but she drew back, and there was not much I could do.

So I didn't manage a kiss. It may not be that big of a deal, as long as we meet again, but i'd still like to hear your opinions.
