I remember someone saying to keep the sexual tension high. Kiss her, but don't make out in the club. Take her somewhere else. Keep her interested, but don't escalate much in the club.

That way, she'll have deniability for going back with you because its less obvious what you're going back with her for and she'll have this pent up horniness that's been tickled but not released all night

Escalate during the night until you end up kissing, then use some excuse to get her back to your place. Try to connect it to something you talked about earlier in the night (paintings, guitars or whatever), invite her back for some wine you want her to taste or just say "Let's go get our jackets". I think the key thing is to make it as a natural step of events and not to mention sex.

Just keep escalating. Escalating is key. If you are just making small talk with some chick, it won't be easy to get her back to your place.

As far as your questions:

*Tactics: games, things that you have talked about, things that your friends are doing, etc. Are you two really competitive about beer pong, darts or something? Invite her back to play some beer pong or darts then. She really likes Finding Nemo or your favorite movie/TV show too? What do you know, you have that at your place that you can go watch. Your friends all heading to an after-party or are still drinking at your place? Invite her to join. Much more innocent when she is joining a group vs just going home with one guy.

Earlier this year I had a string of one-night f-close. The key was several-fold (disclaimer: this worked for me, what works for you may be different). First, escalation is key. From the outset I started slow and worked my way up. A gentle brush of the small of her back, a light grab and squeeze of her arm as I am telling a story. In each instance the girls reciprocated.

Second, and this was KEY, changing locations/venues and escalating the venue. In each instance the night started at a wine/beer bar that was low key. In that setting I had the opportunity to talk to the girls and really connect with them while I escalated the physicality. Then once comfortable, I proposed we head to another more lively venue. I found that going to a slightly louder more lively venue actually created a sense of intimacy. I was very easy once at the lively location to pull the girl in close, kiss-close, and do whatever.

Third, key to the venue change was that the second location was two blocks from my house. During the evening at the more lively venue, I bring up the fact that I love the place because I live so close. Once escalation hits a high point or I have kiss-closed, I then make mention of having a drink at my place or offer her a place to hang out to sober up. If she doesn't bite, totally okay! You HAVE to be outcome independent when trying to f-close on the first date or the first night.

So for me it's easy:

Escalate
Venue change (go from chill to more lively)
Venue change close to home

A big sign that a girl is willing to go to your house with you is if she's willing to leave the bar with you. For example, if you suggest going to a different bar, getting food, etc... and she's down to leave with you, things are looking good.

As for how to say to go back to your place, I generally leave it quite open. A simple "Hey, let's get out of here," usually works. This has worked about 95% of the time for me. If it doesn't work, just try reframing the statement. I got rejected to bounce, but then five minutes later I just said, "It's really crowded in here. Let's go outside," and then we just walked home and banged. It's not rocket surgery.

All the advice in this thread is great, but logistics is a big part of getting a girl back to your place. For example, if she's with just one friend, it's tough to get her to leave her friend for you.
