Girls tend to like older guys. And I think the being 18-19 is quite the odd age, especially where 16 year olds don't have the same university experience as you, but 21 year olds have more bar experience than you. It's an awkward middle ground you'll just grow out of. That doesn't mean you can't game. In fact, it's probably the best time to game. It's where you're distinguish what women (not girls) actually want. You wouldn't approach a high schooler the way you would approach a woman at the bar.

You know what dude, I've been doing this since I was 20 years old, and I'm 30 now. It's my full time job teaching this stuff for the last 5 years. And I still get age wrong all the time.

The last thing you really need to be doing at this point is sitting around looking at a girl hoping you can ascertain her age correctly. Just jump in to every girl who looks close enough.

BUT next time a girl says you are too young, say "Oh yeah that's right, you would have no hope of keeping up with me would you" then give her a cheeky smile. Just turn the age thing around on her in a playful way.

Swap driver's licenses. When I was your age, I had a FOID (that's Firearm Owner's Identification to those who live outside of Illinois) card that looked so incredibly over-the-top sketchy (I had a black eye, messy hair, a swollen jaw from a fight I'd gotten into the previous day, and a serial killer-looking glare), it looked hilarious. It was a great conversation piece, but it also gave me a chance to check their age so I wasn't accidentally risking jail time.

Lol I feel man. Honestly you're 19 stick to like 18 or 19+ (they do exist) events. That's the easiest way I can think of doing it. Another trick that I picked up is a lot of venues x people's hands who are underage and give those older than 21 wristbands or at least no x. Just look at their hands and you'll know which age partition they fall in.

As far as telling age frankly a lot of girls look the same between the ages of 16 and 26. Add make up and venue lighting and telling how old a girl is from appearance is pretty difficult. However this works in your favor as well in that if you dress well enough and act confidently enough a girl should not be able to call you out on your age. So if you want to go after older women it shouldn't matter.

Best advice for telling age from appearance is just how they behave, who they're with, and how their dressed. I don't have any solid advice in this department it's just a vibe some girls give off and some don't. I think it's fairly analogous to guys and the idea of exuding confidence.

Just some an anecdote: I'm 19 and am going out this weekend with an HB9 who is 21. She thought I was 22 until she invited me out drinking. I lied and told her that I'm 20 in response. I met this girl in a club. Admittedly the age difference is not huge but mentally the difference between 19 and 20, or 18 and 20, is fairly big to some people. However as long as you act the part people will assume you belong.

younger girls are the best, they can often be more playful, you have the age advantage so they are often easier...just make sure they arent toooo much younger.

You can often get a hint of a girl's age by looking at her hands. Women often hide their age using makeup, but that obviously doesn't work for hands. Hands have thin skin and show the effects of age quickly.

Hahahaha! Try being 35 and and not realizing that the girl you just asked out is 20. I'm a terrible judge.
