Here's a martial arts analogy.

If I'm getting jumped by five guys, there is no way I'll ever be able to guarantee with 100% certainty that I'm coming out of this fight alive. No matter how much training or preparation I have, there's always going to be some degree of chance. Really, the only thing training will do is increase my chances of survival.

But, I'll bet that a trained Green Beret will have a vastly better chance than someone who's never been in a fight before.

It's 80% who you are/how attractive you are/how you look/how you're dressed and about 20% how you act and whether or not you fuck it up. "Game" is really just not fcking it up.
