No amount of reading will help your inner game because the formula for inner game isn't in a book. If you've read the sidebar, Models and How to Win Friends and Influence People, you know what you have to do, it's Just a matter of doing if. Start new hobbies, read a novel, do something you've never done before.

The best way to improve inner game is to go out there and work on it. Written material is a catalyst to your improvement not a main ingredient.

The funny thing is what you're looking for is the opposite of what you actually need.

They're confusing because there are lots of contradictions? No, that's just a failure of the English language trying to describe the same thing from different angles. It's contradictory to you because you (presumably) lack the real-life experience to provide the contextual information that allows you to understand these concepts on a deeper level.

The problem is that you're coming from the position where if you acquire more information from videos or books or articles, you'll develop inner-game. That's true, to an extent. The real "meat" of it comes from actually going out, taking action in life, practicing what you've learned, making mistakes, having successes, and just getting real-life experience in general.

You don't need to acquire more information. You need to practice what you've learned in order to actually internalize this information, as well as gain valuable contextual information that will allow you to truly understand inner-game concepts.
