Star Wars is my favorite movie, I've hooked up at least 4 time while it played in the background.

I guess what would be the best is something not too plot-heavy so you an kind of pay attention and still get it. But not too action-heavy that the blood and gore is a turnoff.

One of the best movie hookup experiences I had was some Mexican erotic film about a serial killer who kills with pleasure (shit you not), I forget what it was called but it seemed to put her in the mood because she squirted all over my futon. So something that straddles the line between not-sexy and full-on porn is ideal.

Escalation isn't dependent on which movie you're watching. She's not there for the movie.

And, if you find she's interested in the movie such that it's a major obstacle to you escalating, you haven't been doing your job right from the start, and it doesn't matter what movie you put on..

Don't get so much into the theory about social engineering. Just escalate. If she's game, she'll play too.
