I'm a big fan of Mark Manson, and one of my favorite thoughts of his is the "Fuck yes or no" rule. The gist is that both people should be excited to spend time together. If one of you isn't then no worries, just try and find someone who gives you that tickle of anticipation in your gut.

It's not an easy rule to apply, especially if you don't think you have that feeling towards anyone or if they're not interested in you. However the power of this litmus rule is that it has you treating yourself and your time with respect - why waste two of the most precious things in the world?

I'm against the idea of trying to get too cutesie with texting in order to elicit a response. First of all, my goal isn't to try and provoke a reaction but instead to let a connection flow. I realize that sounds vague and semantics but it's really a difference in mindset. The second reason is that I don't want a girl I'm playing games with. I've been in that hole, and it's not fun - particularly if it feels more like trying to convince a girl to go out with you rather than going out together.

Your question was about what to reply, and I probably wouldn't. If you felt compelled to say something though, it would be along the lines of "No worries, another time. Let's talk later and figure something out". That's it. That's also where I'm mentally nexting and letting things happen in their own time.

tl;dr - If it's not a Fuck Yes, then it's a No.

It means "we wont see". ive experienced this and if it is anything less than a solid yes, it is a no.

This has worked for me every time, sooner or later.

nothing else. It forces them to clarify or let you go. Time saved, either in meeting up or not meeting up at all with someone who isn't down.

Demand that she makes her mind and replies in a clear manner. Don't worry, she's already considering it and won't reply with 'no' when forced to choose.
