Just grab their hand. It's a power move. But if you're looking for a less intimidating way. Grab their finger to check their ring or nail polish, or whatever. Palm reading will be an obvious ploy.

If she's done her nails, compliment them. Then take her hand "for a closer look." This works even when sitting across from her in a coffee house.

I do this every fucking single time and it's never awkward. Have fun with it. The last girl I was on a date with was 5'1" and yet her hands were freaky big. I teased the shit out of it for like 20 seconds.

You can really use any reason to touch their hand.

Like I've had a girl say to me, "I bet my hand is bigger than yours" and then compared sizes by placing our palms together. It was just an excuse to hold hands. A corny one, but it's not like I gave a shit, lol.
