The only real fix is to quickly meet another woman you find really attractive so it hammers into your head just how many women are out there.

I used to dote over one of my female friends. It comes back from time to time, but when it does I simply redirect my obsession to some other woman in my life.

Make it a challenge for yourself to stay very in the moment. Focus on the girl in front of you and the surroundings around you. Focus on your breath and your body in the moment.

Our brains are kinda dumb. We need to be focusing on something. So instead of focusing on the other girl, you really need to keep consciously bringing your focus into the moment. Ask her questions, tell her stories, do engaging stuff with her, release any tension you feel in your body throughout the night.
