It's a shit test. The objective in your response, or your lack thereof, is to demonstrate your outcome independence, and if possible dominance.

The simplest and safest choice is to ignore it.

Me I would text back "what would I get in return if I did?", and keep telling her it's not good enough until she commits to something worthwhile. And then obviously I would not expend any effort into entertaining her, except if the entertainment is performed through my cock.

That depends on yours and hers sense of humor. Some girls will laugh at "On tuesdays I like to spend my evenings putting things in my butt" or "Ok, Ill do a back flip" then 30 seconds later with a "what did you think of my back flip". While others might not laugh at any of that.

I get that this is a shit test. I don't want to engage her on her terms. I want her to play by my rules. But I also don't want to turn her off with something too heavily sexual or boring.

I think the key here is to engage them, and even entertain them, but on my own terms.

Asking her to come over, or saying I'm going over, is a REALLY bad idea. It just shows that you have nothing better to do than wait around for her.
Not responding also does nothing. Sure, you didn't lose a huge number of points, but you did fail a little bit.
"I'm busy. Ttyl" is the most neutral response I can think of. You don't lose anything, and maybe gain just a little bit respect, if any. But again, not what I am going for. I want fun + sexual hints.
"Maybe I should give you an assignment... something for you to practice for the next time we meet", or tell her to write '20 things I want you to do to me', or something along those lines, seems to me to be the best possible approach.
