Hey Seddit,

Here's the thing, I have no problem whatsoever to keep a fun conversation going, I never run out of things to say. But the approach itself is the hard part.

I don't get it, I approach people all the time while I do volunteer work. But when I'm not busy with that I can't do it.

I volunteer at a local youth media foundation, Most of the time I go to the city center and randomly interview people about some subject that interests youth. Off camera I also talk to a lot of different people about the things they do and to get more information about the subject when we are recording tv items.

It was first part of my internship, but I continued to do it for fun. It has helped me immensely for my social skills and I will keep doing it just to help out the foundation and better my social skills.

The problem is, the approach anxiety off-camera. After we shot an item at world pillow fight day, which was incredibly fun and unexpected, I went home by train. At the train station a girl looked my way and we both smiled to each other, but the idiot I am didn't say anything.

I don't get it, I was totally in the mood because I just interviewed over twenty people at the pillow event and I still didn't say anything.

Can someone give me a tip on this? It may help other people too.

Thanks in advance.
