I was reading the Sixteen Commandments, and a lot of it makes sense. I even have experienced the success caused by some of them first hand. So by the end of reading it I was thinking, "yeah, this all makes sense, why not?". Then someone left a comment saying that any women you get this way are vapid and worthless anyway. I sort of saw his point, so I just labeled him as beta so that I could ignore that I partly agreed with him.
But this goes against all the mental re-wiring of my brain I've been doing over the past few years. I've been trying to set my brain to ignore binaries and labels--to only deal in gradients and case-by-case situations. Do I have to give this up and completely re-structure my way of thinking to swallow the red pill?
