So after reading some posts on the main subreddit I started to think about two seperate instances where I found out that girls were making up shit about me to their friends (and even on reddit) to make themselves look/feel better about how foolish they acted with me. Both instances are quite sad, as the lies were blatant and there is no way they can actually believe that things went the way they described. So both girls are connected to my social circle so I see them quite often. I act indifferent toward them when I see them, even though they act as if they never said anything bad about me (only one of them knows that I know she was talking badly about me). So I guess my question is, how would TRP respond to this situation? Am I right to not care what they think and what they say about me?

For clarification, I am leaving this vague to reduce the amount of text. But the shit talking basically consisted of calling me creepy with one, and 'cheating'. The point of my question is to pinpoint where my value/pride is best preserved. With myself, or in my reputation?
