This situtation reminds me of something simillar that happend to me, although that girl doesnt cock block me - she wants my attention and gets pissed when im around other girls yet she rejected my kiss. the solution is to talk it out, put the cards on the fucking table, and as Paul said, Fuck her or tell her to fuck off cause shes a fucking time waster.

Either she's just not very socially aware (Since when is it inappropriate to hit on or talk to someone around your friends?) or she's moderately/indecisively interested in you. I suspect the latter. There's probably something about you (Maybe she isn't completely attracted to you, and is keeping you on retainer. Maybe she likes the attention but feels like it's cheapened when it's directed towards someone else. Maybe she's into you, but she has doubts about you, like your intentions and what the relationship will turn into. Maybe she doesn't want to be FWBs but would like a romantic relationship, and you give off the impression that you're only interested in a hook up or FWB relationship. It could be the other way around, but from what you stated that you're looking for and from the fact that you're hitting on numerous women around her, I doubt that. But given that you guys are close friends, it could be that she's afraid of a friendship turning into FWB situation and becoming messy and losing that friendship. If this is the situation and her cockblocking signs indicate she's attracted to you, she would be open to an actual relationship.) or something about her own situation (could be anything) that's keeping her from accepting your advances.

If she's really your close friend, and you don't use that term lightly, I'd be cautious about a FWB relationship or hooking up. That shit could get emotionally brutal and ruin your friendship. You could talk it out if she gives you a few more obvious signs, but that could be an awkward conversation depending on your guys' relationship and personalities. But if you're not interested in a relationship, and you don't want to manipulate her into FWB situation when she really wants something else (she might not) and she's an important enough friend that you're willing to keep hanging out with her even though she's trying to control your behavior (She doesn't own you. But your friends' feelings matter.), I'd stop inviting her out with when you're out getting numbers and the like, and keep your time with her separate. She's not going to be your wingman until shit cools down between you two and you're back to being platonic.

But it's still possible that she could be into hooking up or a FWB situation and isn't interested in a relationship, so you could try again another night. If she reciprocates, and you guys haven't talked and you haven't given any signs that you're looking for a relationship, then she's an adult and she knows or should know what she's getting into. But if she rejects you again, you could use it as an opportunity to discuss things a bit and kinda get a feel for how she feels and at the very least kinda make her aware of her cockblocking. I'd say something like oh man, I don't know why, I thought you might be into me from how you keep pulling me away from talking to these other women. It puts the issue on the table and you guys can discuss where you both stand. It gets her to decide what she wants and it also gets you to tell her what your intentions are.

Also, maybe her friend was into you, and she was trying to corral you towards her friend?

if shes doing it intentionally, shes probably wants to keep you as a retainer guy. fuck everything about that, because it neither makes a good friend or relationship. i say slow the contact with her or just politely tell her to get lost if you are talking to a girl. dont even look at the text, just dismiss her with "show me later" or whatever the situation calls for, and keep your attention on the other girl. heck, if you do that, the situation may even benefit you a bit; even if it gets your friend a little pissy. girls like to have reasons to get pissy though now and then, so it probably wont hurt.

Seriously - if she and her friend were getting bothered by guys they could have come to you and joined in on the conversation. For her to keep pulling you away/interrupting you is a sign of disrespect if it happens at a high frequency.

Girls do this shit all the time, especially attractive girls.

There are two things that could be happening:

I) She doesn't know what she wants with you, friend, lover, or fwb. So, she wants to prevent you from seeing other girls until she can make a decision.

II) Honestly, it may be about power. A lot of times, attractive girls want to have power. From the sound of it, you aren't letting her drive the relationship, which is what she wants. She wants control and power. So, to get it, she is trying to fuck with your head by giving your mixed signals and being hot/cold.

This is classic manipulation. She really hates the lack of control she has, so this drives her to try more and more tactics to gain control.

You have four options:

1) Continue to let her be a manipulative crazy girl and possibly get sucked into a relationship she controls and has all the power from.

2) Tell her she has to make a decision:

A) Let's do this and see where it goes.

B) Stop acting crazy and let's just be friends.

3) Turn it around on her and try to manipulate her. Use her tactics against her and fuck with her head to manipulate her into a relationship that you control, i.e. have sex with her and still go out and sleep with other girls.

4) Stop being friends with her and fade out of her life.

I would probably #2 and then #4 if #2 didn't work. I would only try #3 if I was feeling curious to see if I could pull it off, but if you work with her and see her everyday, then it's not advisable.

Totally normal except for the extent she is going to. Women are possessive of their male orbiters even if they do not consider them good enough to sleep with. The only reason you didn't nail this girl is because your status wasn't high enough or your game wasn't good enough or you waited too long. She has romantic interest in you. At this point, tell her to fuck off or stop hanging around with her.
