Don't let her use you whatsoever. Don't be blinded by your urges to fuck her and end up just being an orbiter. Don't expect her to jump to help you in times of need.

Exactly. Treat them just like you'd treat a bro. Hang out, have fun, etc. Don't expect more from them and you'll actually end up better off than all her orbiters

Treat people like people, hang out and have fun? Got it.

You'd be surprised how many people forget to just be normal and start interacting with someone in a friendly manner to see what you've both got to offer to the conversation you're creating.

But that's exactly the point where guys who haven't had much experience go wrong. Remember these aren't just people, these are beautiful women we are attracted to. The ones that blue-pill men (beta/white knights) would immediately put on a pedestal. The beauty can be paralyzing to a would-be suitor. That's why it's helpful to think about it in a different light.

You don't even need to be friends with them, just learn how to interact with good looking girls without trying to fuck them.

You friend-zoning a woman can flip the script as well. By not letting her decide it first, she may wish to try getting you attracted to her, and in some cases, will make it so she is more attracted to you. May not be overnight, might even be years later. But it is possible, and in my experiences, a fairly high chance of it.

I wouldn't count on that happening, but it certainly IS a possibility. Alebeit a low one.
Yeah I can see this ending badly if you go into a friendship expecting them to be won over eventually.

As a female I concur. I would like to add people are quick to judge even if they don't know they are doing it. And I am guilty too sometimes. I also form a base impression of a person. Sometimes based on the first hang out I assess more or less 3 things: looks, personality and how the two weigh in accordance and how well they fit into my own preferences. If off the bat I don't initially find you attractive this doesn't mean your personality won't fill that gap. It's not a joke when I say I have felt no attraction towards a guys features Wether through my own preferences or in general and then found them hot as fuck as I learned their personality. I'm not even saying that their personality filled the gap in this instance, I'm saying after getting to know them well I literally begin to view them physically attractive.

I can second this. I have far more platonic girlfriends than most males and it has helped my game tremendously. Everything from helping me pick out outfits, trying to figure out if a girl likes me, to talking me up when my dates come over and making them feel safe with me.
There is a problem though, sometimes their femininity can kinda rub off. I once lived with 5 girls for a year and was the only guy in the house and I swear it made me lazier and I started hanging out with them and they mostly just want to sit around on the computer and order food.

As long are you aren't their bitch then it's not a bad idea. Never lose their respect. Probably should hang out with your bros 80% more than them.

One of the problems with the idea of being a friend to a female is that so many people associate it with the "nice guy" who's stuck in the friendzone and begging to get out. In that case, it's an issue and most of these benefits won't be fully realized. A confident man can be friends with a woman without desiring more, and in that regard it's easy to still command respect. Viewing the friendship as a positive asset rather than a hole to escape changes the dynamics entirely.

I think that this can be a hard concept for some of us to wrap our heads around. The reason some of us suspcribe to this sub is that we realize we are not confident men and are looking to improve ourselves. I'm obviously not speaking for everyone. I think that if you lack confidence; you will see this as very counter-intuative advice. Because like you stated a guy just starting to work on his seduction game is looking for results and a friendship and the friendzone are hard to distinguish.

Why you need to stop using the word friendzone?
It doesn't exist, it's a made up thing guys who got rejected invented to deflect disappointment on the rejector.
However, making friends with hot girls is a great idea for some of the reasons you mentioned.

I friendzone people. I am not unique.
