Try to think like you were the people around. What would you think if someone approach a hot girl next to you.

I would think "woah he is really brave doing it with all this people around, I would like to can do it too"

It was the trick I used to use.

Although you must know that people don't give a shit about what you do.

Youre not the only one thinking about it. The girl you will approach will say "In spite of all the people he STILL approached me. What balls of steel!"

An audience actually works in your favor.

My standard advice for any phobia:

Don't wait to "feel better" about a situation. Confidence can only come from familiarity, which can only come from proceeding, even in the face of doubt and anxiety.
Phobia can be extinguished by repetition. If an audience makes you too nervous to fully interact normally, then go up to a woman surrounded by friends and ask her the time. Next time, ask the woman (a different woman) something and compliment her clothing and walk away. Edge into your normal interaction gradually over the span of a dozen such interaction, each one a little more forward than the last.

My answer to that is elegance and speed. Pretend that she is someone you already know, greet with a smile and introduce yourself. "Hey I'm .... (let her say her name if she wants) , just wanted to say that your smile is like x y z, shall I take a sit (hopefully there are empty chairs nearby LOL xD)

Hint : It will really help if you raise your eyebrows while she stares at you (if not why even trying, there's plenty of fish in the sea :D) with a cheeky innocent smile. This is the best technique of all times!!!

Try to remember that everyone is rooting for you. Seriously. You are, she is, and everyone around is. Litterally everybody wants to see you do well in that situation.
