First legit FR, so I'd love to get some input.

My city has been having free outdoor concerts from Thursday to tonight. Earlier in the week, I text an old friend asking if she wants to come with, since I remember that we have similar tastes in music. I've always had a crush on her, but I've only seen her once in the past year, and I've changed a lot (for the better!) during that year, so I was hoping that I'd be able to "start fresh" in a sense. We go out on Thursday, unfortunately not alone, but with a group of friends. We had a pretty good time, and I succeeded in using a lot of kino, and she seemed to be responding pretty well.

So during the weekend I text her asking if she wants to come on Sunday night (tonight). One of the bands playing is one of my favourites, and the other is one of her favourites, so I figure it'll be a good time. She says yes, but she already invited a few other mutual friends. No big deal.

After some strategic positioning in the crowd, we ended up next to each other for the beginning of the show. We were dancing a bit, but it took a while for the show to get going. Then about halfway through the crowd just starts going nuts. People were crowdsurfing left right and centre, and mosh pits were forming all over the place. Tons of fun, but her and I just kept dancing together. On a few occasions when a semi-mosh pit formed she grabbed my arm/hand so that we'd stay together. I guess that's good? (see my note at the bottom) Towards the end, it was mostly us dancing together, and our group seemed to have spread out a bit, but we were still having a good time. I was kino-ing up a storm. Shoulders, legs, back, everything I could really. It seemed to me like she was receiving it well, but it's tough to say for sure, since we were so close that it wasn't like she could've shied away or anything. I got pretty close to her as often as I could to say something into her ear, and I think she was receiving that well.

After the show's over, we just started laughing and our friend group reassembled. We took a few pictures, and decided to grab some food from a food tent and then head out. I was still kino-ing like hell, and her and I started running together to the food tent, which I thought was good.

Finally, our group splits and her, I, and a few others are walking along this path. There's a huge puddle in the way, and she's wearing rain boots, so she jumps in it and gets me all wet and just has this shit-eating grin. Good I guess? Later on, we're passing another huge puddle, and since I'm walking next to her, I try to stealthily hold her hand and pull her into the puddle with me as a joke. I'm totally reading into this too much, but when I tried to, she kind of pulled her hand back. I don't really know if she was just walking normally and I mistimed, or if she could tell that I was trying to hold her hand, or whatever. My confidence took a big dip after that, but the night was almost done.

Finally, we're set to part ways, so me and my bro say goodbye, and she gives me a hug and we both sort of mutually suggest going slacklining this week. Unfortunately, it will probably once again be with other people, but who knows.

Notes and errata:

-Thought I did as good a job as I could during the show itself. We both had a really good time. Not sure how else I should've played things afterwards.

-I had a really tough time trying to tell if she was legitimately into me, since she's a really outgoing girl. It's possible that she would've responded like she did to anyone.

-What next?
