Just curious as to whether or not anyone in the community has picked up someone that identified as asexual, demisexual, etc?

Couple things about this.

Someone simply identifying themselves as "asexual," or "demisexual," does not necessarily mean that they are. People often don't understand themselves so self-proclamations might be good indications of their current state but not necessarily meaningful in the larger sense.
Of course, you should still respect it when someone identifies as such. It does mean that they probably aren't going to be up for much with whoever they identified themselves that way with.
But however someone has identified themselves, just like with any other person, you simply have to pay attention to them when you're around them. People may identify as many things other than straight but still find themselves attracted to someone they say they shouldn't be attracted to. Words should be respected, but ACTIONS should be observed because they often speak louder than words.
Other than a fling, pursuing someone who has actively identified themselves as "asexual" might be exhausting, and to be honest, sounds rather boring because you're talking about someone who is young and single, but already takes the approach and attitude towards sex that an jaded person who's been married to the wrong person for 30 years. How attractive is that really? Even if you could get in there, you'd have to hold up both ends of the interaction and it might just be like sleeping with a blow-up doll.
If sparks are flying with a demisexual, that might be okay, if they actually come to life while in the interaction with you.

In any case, the overriding factor should be how well you match up with the other person sexually. If you don't line up, "game" isn't going to fix things.

I've had sex with someone who identified as asexual. Seduction rules still apply, nothing about sexual orientation affects someone's emotional state. However, the sex was more experimental than sensual, even with high emotions running rampant (she had never had sex with a dude).

Not me but my roommate. Our neighbor is gender-queer (biologically female) and my roommate is bisexual (biologically male). Both are fanatical social justice warriors on Tumblr. They hit it off damn fast.

If you want to seduce a girl who is asexual, I'd start by understanding the asexual mindset, and verbally empathize with her situation.

My ex was asexual in that she liked men (and only men) but she rarely ever felt passion or a desire to have sex. She was never much into romance either; they're just as loving as anyone else except they don't express much of it through romantic acts. It's not something related to Tumblrinas or SJW at all.
