Your social prominence isn't as important as your perceived status. If you meet a girl at a bar, she has nothing to go off of besides what she can glean from your appearance and actions. It wouldn't matter if you had 0 friends or everyone hated you and you lived in a box, so long as you present yourself well and have the confidence/behaviors of someone with high social standing. I guess living in a box could mess up the logistics on an f-close, but you know what I mean.

If you dress and act like you're the shit during an approach, that's all the information the girl has to work with. That doesn't mean be an overcompensating asshole "alpha". But I does mean truly believing that you're high value and getting in shape/dressing well.

You're asking the wrong question. It doesn't matter if women find social prominence the most important thing IF you are able to still sleep with / date the women you want to without the social prominence. This is the difference between sufficient and necessary.

You shouldn't have any problems meeting women if you have neutral social prominence, though it can give you problems if you have actively low social standing (ie people look down on you). Much better to be outsider than that.

You should have no problem meeting women given what you've said.

It' very possible that your premise that "a new city where social status is everything (it's in the South)" is false. Sounds like a self-limiting belief. BTW, if you mean Washington, DC, it is mostly false (in seduction unless you want a gold digger), regardless of what things look like. Tight game will get you pretty far...so work on your game. Also, not sure what "social status" means to you or when friends started coming in "brigades."

I think it depends on your goals. For one night stands you can easily mimick social status through your behaviors. For long term relationships high quality women will probably be prefer a guy with more, real social status. Leadership positions, has a purpose, etc.

You can fake social status to get a girl in bed, but it won't hold up. The more time you spend with her, the more the real you (inner game) will show up. This is why guys like RSD also heavily focus on inner game.

It's not the status in itself but the perspective you have of yourself.

The true fundamental question is: how highly do you perceive yourself and your overall image? Based on the answer, your brain will behave accordingly. It's all in your mind.

It's importance on a scale of 1 to 10... like a .3 .

Obviously the more people you talk to, the more women you'l have opportunities to meet, so there is something to be said there... but beyond that don't take it seriously.
