I use public transport a lot. Over the past couple of months I can remember two times where a girl was giving me looks. I just kept reading my book because I didn't know how exactly to respond.

So let me posit a scenario: I'm on a bus or a train and I'm sitting a couple of rows over from a girl (and her friends) who keeps looking at me. She's not within talking distance. It would feel incredibly weird to just walk over. It's a full bus/train and there's no seats. It's virtually impossible to separate her from her friends. Do I just go over and talk to her? Do I talk to her friends as well? I feel like I would have to talk to her for the entire ride - it's often difficult to keep the conversation flowing - because I obviously can't make a quick get away.

I regret not doing anything both times, because they were both pretty girls and I generally don't get much attention from women. I've never actually approached a woman. I've talked to women before but no one who wasn't like right next to me - in a lecture for example. I pussied out because all of these questions came through my head. I'm not sure exactly what to say to a woman when there's no context.
