There has been multiple correlation studies that show that weather does impact people's mood in general. A Harvard case study I did last year actually also showed how markets did relatively poorly on days with bad weather!

I get a migraine with every heavy rainstorm. That definitely puts a damper on my feeling sexy and willing to let a guy attempt anything

Have you considered the fact that these women are actual people?

Like, they're not just another "set", they're actual thinking, feeling human beings? Have you considered that?

A woman trying to get picked up spends time putting on makeup, doing her hair, putting on the right clothes, etc. She feels sexy, and wants others to know it. But guess what: these aren't the women you're talking to. These are the ones chatting with the bouncer, the DJ, the bartender.

The women you're talking to aren't there to get picked up! Now that's not saying they're against it, it's just that it's not their goal when they go out.

So under normal circumstances, they're comfortable, in clothes they're not embarrassed by, and not worried about their hair and makeup, and your rehearsed little "PUA" routine might be fine. But when it's raining, they're thinking "gosh, my hair's a mess, my clothes are all wet, I'm a little uncomfortable, a little self conscious, I just want to have a drink with my girlfriend and relax after this stressful day," and when you approach with your high energy PUA routine, they're thinking "please, just get away from me."

Do you see the difference? Now when you stop thinking of them as sets, and start trying to relate to them as people, you can get through that... but it has to be more of a function of "gosh, can you believe this weather? how do you manage to stay so put-together with all this humidity?" Relate to how she is feeling, rather than trying to run some high energy routine.

So approach them and make them smile and brighten their day. Tell them you love the rain because it reminds you of the time when you were growing up when you were walking in the forest and remember those rain drops on the leaves... Put her in your positive frame and she will follow and forget how she feels and starts feeling great. Remind her it's her lucky day cause she met a really amazing guy...
