So basically, how it works is you talk to a girl you chase her a little bit and then you pull back a little to let her chase you. You know you got a girl hooked when she invests, and does the chasing.

I have a girl chasing me which is all fine and dandy, but then I have a very risky type of game. I make a lot of jokes which don't necessarily translate well to text. So I cracked a somewhat offensive joke through text and now she's mad which now means I need to start chasing.

Whenever this happens, I often end up chasing the girl just to prove to her that I'm sorry. Which the girl likes obviously, but it puts me at a disadvantage when it comes to making demands and controlling the pace of the interaction.

So basically, does anyone know of a good way to say sorry to a girl without having to abandon your frame of being aloof and unattached.
