background This was a university event at a bar, so the people are similar ages to me and will have similar backgrounds etc. We all are at the same university I am a social person, friendly and outgoing. I just wanted to go their, meet some people, make more friends. I am very chatty and can hold a conversation well.

the event Most girls were in their groups, large groups and It looked like they didn't want to be disturbed. Girls who were in small group 2-3 I spoke to all of them. However they seemed quiet, not interested in conversation at all. They just wanted to stay in their little groups. I tried my best, I tried being flirty, I tried being friendly. nothing worked at all. They stayed quiet, asked one or two questions about me then looked down.

maybe I should of waited longer until they had more alcohol, I dont know, but the thing is it was one of my worst experiences ever.
