I've never tried it, but I bet if you have the balls saying something along the lines of "Yeah I'm here alone. I'm looking to get laid" it will probably work.

Look girls know why you're there. You're drinking alone and flirting with them. Of course you're trying to get laid. Being honest about it may just short-circuit the whole thing.

"Yeah I'm here alone. Looking for someone to come home with me."

"Come home with you? For what?"

"Well to fuck, duh."

"Oh yeah? Wanna fuck me?"

"Yeah that'd be fun."

"Cool, lets go".

After 2 of my 3 friends who I used to go out with moved to other states a couple of months ago, I was forced to go out alone. No one has asked me if I was alone.

I think that going out alone or with one wingman are the best options. When you go out with 3 or more, there is always someone to talk to in the group and that gives you less incentive to talk with other people.

If you go out alone I'd recommend finding venue with multiple areas within it. That way you can move from area to area. Another thing about going out alone is that you decide where you want to be at all times. If you don't like a spot you can easily go to another one.

I've noticed that people are more likely to talk with me when I go out alone. A girl even bought me a shot at the bar.
