His reasoning is that he doesn't want anything to stop the girl from reaching the club with him.

His "reasoning" is a smokescreen. He wants to feel like he runs a bunch of girls and doesn't want competition. He's ridiculous. He's letting fear run his decisions.

Really, it doesn't pass the laugh test. Just because you talk to them, doesn't keep them from going to the club. Hell, it doesn't keep you and the girl from going to the club together.

Plus, social networking isn't some perishable "work" that he did. It's not like anyone out there is going to patent a conversation; this guy talked to some girls. Big freaking deal. He doesn't own them now because of that.

He doesn't have ownership over the women coming to his club, and he has no right to tell you to stay away from them. He simply doesn't want competition from you. That's his problem. If there's a girl you want to talk to, then fucking talk to her. Him getting all butthurt over you talking to girls at his club is his problem, not yours.

You should have just done it. If he made a big fuss because you managed to pulled one of "his girls," you could have just covered his losses.

Lining = living? (Typo)? "Bros Before Hos" is a good rule. Do you value his friendship? Plus, you live with him?

In the comments you say that going after his women could reduce his income...so you shouldn't do it...although I don't think I really get why it affects his income and why there isn't a way around it (like you bringing her to the club with him or why he still cant bring her even if you are sleeping with her as long as he doens't move on her). I also don't know how much he values your friendship since he would take you to a party of girls and tie your hands....but that is a separate issue. If you are going after the girl because she messaged you first, let the friend know beforehand or you are being deceptive.

Also, you may want to not go to him with these events in the future since he is being so difficult about the situation.

Yes, every guy wants every chance to sleep with hot girls. If they go with you, obviously his personal agenda will be altered (whether or not it is sexual). Seems like an artificial wall put up to not have you as competition. If you have a go at these ladies, why not just them make the decision themselves? Reference experiences. That being said, I wouldn't step on toes if he is a friend or opens a lot of doors for you. Otherwise...
