The only absolute skill you need to consistently get numbers and dates off Tinder, is knowing how to build trust. It doesn't matter if it's a one-night stand, or someone you want to take out to dinner, she trusts you in some way that says "let's spend time together." Interest helps. Fun helps. There's more than enough guides to help you enjoy your conversation, but I'm here to help you get real dates, and get you more of what you want.

  • Rabbit-Hole Topics: At its simplest, building trust is just getting to know them. If you can go on a game show, answering questions about the person you're talking to, and you make it past a few rounds, you're miles ahead than other guys in her eyes. Sure it's fun to say random shit to each other, but there's a reason that fun conversation doesn't get you out in the real-world with her. You want substance and fun. You want a back-and-forth flow. Not an interview. Not bullshit conversation full of jokes.

  • How-To: Rabbit-Hole Topics is for you to be able to have a good "flow" of conversation. You ask something, she replies, you reply, then one of you asks another question. Sometimes you talk about the topic for awhile, sometimes it's quick. Key here is for you to ask personal questions. Find out about her, and tell her about yourself. Remember, you want to be able to get on a gameshow and make it past a few rounds. You don't need to be able to win the million-dollar prize yet, just getting to ten thousand is good enough on Tinder.

  • Good Topics: I'm not going into the in-depth psychology of why these are good, so just trust me. Are you from around here? What work do you do? (You can ask about her day-to-day work life and lead into other topics that way. Ask her why she's doing what she does, what got her into it.) If you have a hobby, "have you ever tried [insert hobby] before?" What do you do on your spare/free time? (Better to ask this over "do you have any hobbies?" She might not have any or just say "I don't really have time for them" in which case you'd still ask "what do you do on your free time?") Note: Also choose topics you're interested in and that you look interesting in! If you went to Stanford, you better damn talk about school. Humblebrag. It's only bad if you throw it out there without them asking, totally fine if you lead the conversation down a road you know.

  • Examples: Asking what they work in and then flirting, Asking where they're from

  • Dead-End Topics: Every single one of us have had "I thought we were doing fine" moments. It happens! Sometimes we have no control over it, but we want to be sure we know what to avoid, just to better our chances. Keep in mind, this isn't tactics. This isn't a "solve your problems if you follow these steps" process. All of this is like a guideline. General guidelines are your friends.

  • What to avoid: Yes or no, coffee or tea? Give them options to reply how they want. If you absolutely want to ask a "A or B," phrase it so that they can give you a story behind it. If she traveled to Europe, for example, it's better to ask "why'd you go to Europe?" instead of "did you go to Europe?" Religion, politics, all those touchy subjects, are actually fine because they're very personal. Don't bring them up if you're going to be offended by her answer. Don't talk about drugs or clubbing if that's not you. Question after question is bad if that's all you do. Sprinkling that a few times to advance a conversation is okay! Just don't do it time after time after time after...

  • Examples: Simple question after simple question, Bad jokes (it is entertaining though!)

  • Value Your Time: Focus on people you can see something happen with! I can't stress this enough. If she's giving you short answers on everything, if she's not replying back after two messages, if you're just not into her, move on! Focus your time on who you are doing well with and actually want to see. "But, maybe I can recover from this.." Maybe you can! I'm not here to help you with your case-by-case examples. Generally speaking, you want to Value Your Time. You want to spend your time on the women who are giving back what you're putting out. You're more guaranteed numbers, dates; you won't be trying to turn on the sink at a house without water. You know what happens after you spend so much time on every. Single. Match? You get tired. You lost hope. Let's not do that. Let's build your energy.

  • Examples: Not really interested on the topic, Just not interested in her

  • Signs She's Interested: "So, how do I know where to spend my time?" For now, if you're getting these signs, give her your number and have her text you:

  • She asks questions a lot

  • She messages you twice

  • She gives you real answers

I'll be going in-depth on this next week. These three points are good for now. If you see one or most of these in your conversations, just give her your number. Trust me.

A lot of you are wanting to know "how can I make my profile stand out? How can I get women to not flake anymore? I just want to go out on a date, I don't want to stay home anymore."
