Hey Reddit, I think it's important to state that I'm 17, high-schooler. Previously, I've had a few relationships (one long-term) in my home country (not English-speaking, slightly less-westernized culture). I've been reading and practising seduction since 14 (that also helped me learn english btw), but since the only thing I used to find interesting about Germany was its WW2 conspiracies (cool dude, ain't I?) I automatically assumed the dating scene was NYC-like and was eagerly waiting to unleash my whole arsenal of methods (in my home country I was really limited, for the simple fact they wouldn't get it). The thing is, it seems totally different; it may be my physical location, because I'm not in a big city, rather a small one in NW Germany; but I don't think the contrast would be this day-night—like. I'm pointing out everything and hoping for some advice, because I honestly think everything I've learned is worthless here.

1: People don't 'date' before they are actually in a relationship (translation: they don't hang out first-hand to justify being in a relationship, because they rationalize they've "got to know each other enough")

2: The hook-ups are done through phones. Like really, "do you wanna be my gf?"-fourth grade stuff.

3: Girls need to know you love them before escalating. They don't assist in conversations and I'm forced to do 90% of the talking (although I feel I'm being needy it's the only chance, FFS)

4: Use kino and people look at you with the this-guy-is-a-perv look. :(

I think you get the situation, its a high-school environment. I don't know everyone, but I don't need to, because I screened the people and made friends most of the alpha materials, so I have social value because of the social circle. Moreover, I have better-than-average looks, I speak a broken german (thank god they speak an average english and we understand each other) and I have the "new-foreign-guy" advantage. There are girls giving me IOIs (texting, and one even hugs me "because she hugs everyone, it's just an inner need") but I have no idea on hell how to proceed. If you need more info, kindly ask.
