it's all about setting the expectation up front - take a sales page for example: a dating site promises you that for a whopping $19, it's going to teach you everything about attract the love your life. However after it gets you all pump up and takes you to the checkout page, that sneaky site jacked the price up to $49!!! How dare this site lie to you about the real price it's gonna charge you after you've spent 10 minutes watching its sales video! you feel cheated and shuts off this site. Compare to being honest - the site advertises for $49 up front, you went thru the full sales pitch, you loved it and you went for it straight, yay money! (or sexxx cause this is an analogy.) OR your decided $49 is too damn high but you know you can get it for $49 and there's no catch to it. You may come around sometime later and buy it fully knowing what you're getting into.

For any girls in the sub, please note; this works both ways. Can't tell you how many times I've had a girl be upfront about her feelings and it I tend to feel closer to girls who are much more open, even if they only end up being FWBs.
