When I was 20 I travelled to Australia and met my godfather. On my way there people told me legends of his ability with women. When I met him, his charm and ease around women confirmed this. Being young and impressionable I asked him for some advice. He said two things which have stuck with me ever since.
1) In every group of 10 women there's one who wants to sleep with you. Go and find her.
2) The most important thing you can do is not give a shit.
He didn't say any more than that, leaving me to figure out the rest. The first was self explanatory; play the numbers game. But the second was vague, and not really practical. I didn't really get it til a while later. After multiple failures, successes, epiphanies and experiences, I came to realise he was right: it really is the most important thing.
Not giving a shit is where you're not trying to win her vagina, you're just content to show up as you are, see if you like her, and then make a move and take her if you do.
It's not about WINNING her, it's about TAKING her. It's not about trying to do something, it's about letting go.
You don't need to plan amazing dates, have funny lines, or be James Bond. You've just got to show up, and make a move.
When you understand this, everything - and I mean everything - else will fall into place.
