I've recently just come out of a long term relationship which ended by being cheated on and I am now ready to move on.

There is one girl I do want to speak to on Facebook, we do have a lot of IRL mutual friends but have never spoken before ever however we do go back and forth liking eachothers photos.

Every time I try to pick myself up to send her the first message I get into my head about it and start to panic, maybe she'll ignore me, maybe she'll just tell me to fuck off.

How do I over come this lack of self confidence so I can start the conversation and keep it fluid?

Also if anyone has any conversation tips when talking to a new person that would help too.
