I understand that pickup is about making both the girl and your day better. However, by default I am always in an apathetic mood. No smile, no sense of humor, just serious and stiff. Approaching girls in this state is not fun, and if I'm not upbeat and happy during my approach, they sure as hell won't be and I wouldn't have added to their day.

How can I get myself out of this flat and serious mood when out by myself? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
