I think it just depends for how long you keep the eye contact, like if you just stare for too long, it may seem creepy, and if you don't hold it for long enough it may seem like you're avoiding eye contact.. no expert here but I guess it's dependent on situation, how she is acting, what she says how she reacts and so on...

Count. Note when it gets uncomfortable, and then count to 3. Only then can you look away. Soon enough you'll realize that you're getting to 10 or so, and that's it's ridiculous to keep counting at this point. Congratulations, you've mastered eye contact.

Also, look in this sub or online for "sticky eyes". Most people don't hold eye contact for that long, it's 80/20.
