Hello everybody, I've always thought of myself of a quite socially awkward person (17M) but somehow I've aquired quite a large group of friends at my school. I can be myself around them and I can talk to them without it becoming awkward. Around half of those friends are girls, and I can speak with them even better than with most of my male friends. Also, my two best friends are both female. As you can see, I have no problems talking to girls (at least not with the ones which I talk to regularly, new ones are always a bit awkward in the beginning). But somehow, no girl has ever been romantically interested in me. A good female friend of mine told me the other day that her and her friends somehow only saw me as a nice guy but not as a possible boyfriend. Just your regular nice friendly fellow. (One thing to note is that I have had some major self esteem issues in the past and I am still working on those, but I don't think that is affecting this problem) How can I change this, what am I doing wrong? Am I being too friendly? Also, how do I have nice conversations with girls that I ain't familiar with?
