Abandon hitting on girls at night. Especially at bars, clubs, most places like that.

If i was you i would do three things:

Day game. Start being more social during the day time. Start making friends with all the guys you see during your normal day, this always makes things easier.
Find a guy with a social surplus and become his friend. Preferably someone who is your opposite (in both stature and personality). If girls you all meet don't like him, there is an increased chance they will like you.
Become friends with the most charismatic(great looking will help) woman you can find. Make it clear you just want to be friends. Use her as a tool to meet other women. Do not ever be tempted into thinking she is interested in you, you have to shut that shit down quick(imagine a her choking on a gigantic cock every time you talk to her, this is an invaluable tool).

PS: i would avoid conversations about your career or how much money you make. This will just put a giant target on your forehead saying "Beta chump buffet" to every hot chick looking to jump off the pleasure train and settle down.

Don't give a shit. If you're thinking about demonstrating how much you make you're already in the wrong mentality. She has to prove herself to you. You're getting your PhD in Engineering making six figures? Tell her you're a chain-saw juggling stripper until she proves herself to not be a gold digger slut.

Easier said than done of course. I'm 5'6" myself but honestly it never really crosses my mind unless the girls are giraffes. Just keep this in mind whether the girl is 4'11" or 6'3" (6'6" in heels) - You're fit, have a great career ahead of you, and talented: what is she bringing to the table?

/r/AsianMasculinity is probably going to be your best bet as unfortunately being asian means you are at a loss from the get go for physical attraction in the west. This can be countered with good masculinity.

Also, don't give up learning game: to quote typical sales training "each no brings you one closer to a yes" and "ABC: Always Be Closing".

Having a PhD puts you in a high social status, so anything you do that gives that away helps. Girls KNOW the difference between real style and not. If you are making the money investing in expensive nice clothing can go a long way. When women recognize the money you had to put into a good look it signals your status right away. If you are in any way a car person, getting a nice car does this too.

Heres some things I would consider.

I. Target women shorter than you

II. Get buff so women can see your strength/fitness/dominance. Even if you are fit, they cant see it unless you are also bigger.

III. Learn playful banter/flirtation. Dont try to have deep conversations with girls at first. At first everything you do is a context for sexual innuendo, displaying interest and kino. Literally its all just a game, and the appearance (the conversation) is clothing the real intention (that you want to fuck her and she is looking to be fucked by a man). If you are trying to discuss your career and shit without eye contact, kino, and various kinds of innuendo then its no wonder girls are walking away from you.

Honestly you want to get into a playful and sexual tone as quickly as possible. You should be aiming to have fun, not getting to know about this girls childhood and what her parents do for a living or whatever.

IV. Stop thinking of yourself as "Asian and short" since you have negative feelings anchored to this thought. If you are approaching wondering if the girl will reject you for either, then you are setting yourself up for failure. Instead you should approach a girl and if you are thinking anything it should be along the lines of how awesome you are, how fit, athletic, how good in bed, whatever. Think of your good qualities if you are going to be self conscious. The best game though comes from being relaxed and not thinking of yourself at all, but just enjoying the moment and having fun flirting with the girl and laughing.

V. Dont talk about money, or career, display it through nice clothes, nice accessories, a nice car, getting a nice apartment. Women are creatures that need to see and know we take action, they dont want to hear about how much we make, they want to talk to a man who is dressed well and get into his nice car at the end of the night.

VI. If a girl rejects you, dont give a fuck. Dont go up to her again, dont look her way anymore, dont do anything but either talk to more girls in the bar/club or move on to another place.

Self presentation is a big thing: Lift heavy, dress fashionably and well, and have elements of your standard of living present (i.e. your Rolex watch, your nice cufflinks, high quality shades, designer clothes) to help peacock. Your goal is to not only have high SMV, but to stand out as having it.

You can do this even while understating certain things. For example, you don't have to take your shirt off and show your six pack, but you can wear clothes that make it apparent.

Preselection helps. Find a girl who you can count on to be a social buddy who is relatively attractive, and keep her around.
