(I have read this one on SashaDaygame's page.)

Me: Hey, I think you owe me an apology.

She: What, why?

Me: Because I had to run from there (pointing to a place) all the way to here so that I can say Hi to you.

Or my prefered one:

My mom forbid me to talk to strangers, but you are too cute, I had to say hi.

I think this is a fun way of starting conversations and allows a bit of roleplaying too. Actually I used this line a few times recently and had a lot of success with it. When I was rejected it was because the girl didn't get the joke, although I smiled and had a fun vibe. Maybe I just dodged a boring girl without wasting too much of ny time. On the other hand the convos built up a lot smoother with the receptive girls. Were I simply lucky, or is this really that good of an opener?

I know that the words don't really matter during the approach and it is all about the vibe, but I am curious of your opinion.
