Two steps forward, one step back. Maybe she doesn't like coffee. "Sometime" is too vague. "Tonight", ""In ten minutes" are better for telling her.

Stop asking as well. Instead, "Hey, put your number in my phone, and come grab some coffee with me after work" - hand her your phone.

If I meet any initial rejection, I always make one more effort to push past.

It's not a magic spell, though. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Sometimes a girl just feels hesitant, for a myriad of reasons. A small push can help her take some action.

Other times, a girl is set on saying no. In those cases, she'll say no a second time, so I'll just move on.

Go back to classic game, cocky funny works especially well with shy girls. If its one on one first of all you can physically tell if shes into you, so that should be an indicator of weather to push past it or not but I generally just make a joke afterwards something in your case for me would have gone like.

"chit chat" "Iv got to get going now, you should put your number in my phone and I'll send you funny messages a few times a week" hands phone over in the middle of the sentence

in my experience doing these at the same time almost never fails because the phone is in her possession before the sentence is finished and even if she subconsciously knows what im asking her to do; because I havnt said it yet there is no reaction to it. As well as handing the phone back after she has taken it without putting the number in would make an otherwise casual situation into an awkward one. The only times Iv seen this fail are when they legitimately have a boyfriend because they hand the phone back without hesitation (if they don't have a boyfriend but they say they do usually they will keep hold of the phone) your welcome for that shit test answer... but then from there the game is in your hands. I like to end it with something funny like calling her phone and talking on it instead of with her while im standing there and saying stupid shit or telling her when im going to call/ text and what im going to say then preparing her for the response I want to hear.

"alright im going to text you tomorrow at 3pm so we can talk about meeting up and catching pokemon, I expect you'll have a place in mind" -actually used

"im going to text tommow at noon to go swimming dont be late"

whatever the conversation before was about will determine what you say here If you choose to do so. And ill finish this much longer than intended post with keep cocky funny in mind how you say something is 1000x more important that what you actually say. I got the sense that she says no by default... to everyone. That she is looking for someone to convince her... be cockier than that.

Best not to try to make generalizations about her behavior towards everyone, just based on how she treats you.

She could very well have reacted better to a different person or different approach. You'll never know.

We can only say that she might havr reacted better if you did something different. Or maybe she wasn't feeling it due to no fault of yours.

this was a cold approach and you didn't know her at all before hand? I wouldn't push a cold approach on the street. Did she linger after saying no thank you?

Unless your name is Vince Vaughn and you're filming another shitty rom-com set in Chicago, the answer is "no". Don't be pushy, because it's not cute.

If you're being told no, it's because either: a) she was always going to say no, because she's not available or not interested, or else b) you just haven't warmed her up enough, nor given her a plausible reason to actually want to talk to you again.
