I met this girl awhile ago, Ashley. At the time, we both had never even kissed someone. We went on one date and kissed for about 40 minutes at the end of it. We just spent the night together tonight and got all the way to oral on each other. She really likes me and I really like her. However, the tricky thing is that she'll be studying abroad for the Fall semester.
Now, this second girl, Erica, has also entered my life around the same time. She's pretty much perfect as far as I can tell. She's ridiculously cute, sweet, smart, is head over heels for me, etc. I really like her too and I want to be with her, but I don't want to lose Ashley in the process. However, I don't want to lose Erica by staying with Ashley, especially since Ashley will be gone for the next four months.
What can I do? If I break it off with Ashley, is there a way I can phrase it / put it that will make it sound less bad? I really don't want to break her heart.
