Hey Seddit I was wondering what are some ways I can phrase questions differently with women to avoid them being "interview questions". I thought I saw a post on here before about this topic,but can't seem to find it again.

Interview questions are not about asking something, but to hold an interview. This means that you don't really follow up on answers, you don't listen etc. Just be genuinely interested in the girl and talk about things you are interested. For instance, she tells you about her last vacation to China. You were always interested in the culture, so you ask her "how did it feel to get there, it must have been so strange" she replies with something, you chime in with a thought about it etc.

Not sure if this is what you meant, but you can convert a question into a statement by assuming the answer.

Example

You want to know if she plays any sports as a hobby.

Question: "Do you play any sports?"

Statement: "You seem like someone who enjoys playing soccer."

Both versions aim to do the same thing: invite her to share information about herself about playing sports as a hobby

Hey there. I don’t know the name of that post, but here are some ways you can frame questions differently.

1) Guess. Instead of asking the question you want to ask, guess the answer to it yourself. Instead of asking where are you from, you could say “you look like your eastern European”. 2) Use “I was wondering”.. instead of asking why did you come to the states, say “I’m wondering why you came to the states”. 3) Use “alternative close ended questions”. Yep sometimes close ended questions make people talk more than open ended. When people don’t answer your open ended questions try using alternative closed ended questions. Ie: “is it because of a or because of b? “ Now please be aware that whole this industry is mostly focused on techniques. The so called masters of pick up will tell you not to ask questions and use assumptions. But it’s only half true. In fact you can ask questions it’s not a problem if your vibe is good and if you’re body language is good. I’ve been coaching men in dating skills for more than 20 years. And I’v literally tested this and “ASKED women for their number”. Literally like “well, can I have your number?” and it works like a charm. But only if your sub communications are strong. Remember people judge you not by what you say, but how you say it. But in the beginning I would suggest you use assumptions because you are still learning and your sub communications are probably not 100 right yet. Hope that helps.

How might an interesting conversation that is 'fun' look like, though? I mean, you can make assumptions about their jobs, but do people really want to talk about work when they're not working?

I try to implement the whole 'make assumptions' thing, but I still fall at the same hurdle, it seems.

hypothetical example; - imagine you're in a bar:

''Hey! I'm jack''

''Oh. Hello. I'm Kelly''

''So what brings you here tonight?''

''just felt like a drink''

''Yeah, me too!.....I'm gonna guess that you work in the fashion industry!''

''No. I'm an office cleaner''

''Oh cool. Do you like it?''

''It's Ok''

''Yeah, I used to clean offices for a while....You look like you might have some Eastern European in you''

''No, but I get that a lot from people I meet''

''Yeah. It's the bright eyes and the dark hair''

''Yeah''

''You seem like someone who plays sport''

''I play a little bit of tennis''

''Do you? I never really got into tennis. More of a football kinda guy''

''Where do you play?''

''Just a the leisure centre from time to time''

''Are you any good?''

''I'm OK I guess''

''cool''

''So what else do you do for fun?''

(assume that she tells me something like clubbing and we have a brief chat about that where I tell her my view on clubbing or something. But soon enough I really don't know what else to ask, or maybe she is bored at this point and tries to get away)

This is just a pretend example, but it's how lots of my interactions go.

Now, before just saying ''that's a boring conversation'' give me an example of a NOT boring conversation with your own pretend conversation using the same hypothetical example as above. Show me what one might say/what you would do differently/how you would 'tease' etc, when talking to the same girl

It's genuinely hard to visualize this when you have very little successful real life reference experience

Try asking why they're doing things and what's interesting about X, then follow up when/if you hit common ground.

Just to pull a quick example out of my arse ...

"So, what's your favorite hobby?" "Traveling." "Cool, I like to travel too. What's the most exciting place you've been to?" "Blablabla" "Oh, I've never been there. What was it that drew you to that particular spot?"

Like I said, quick and dirty example, but hopefully you'll get the gist of it. You can also insert statements, like "Oh you work in X? I bet you meet a lot of nice/funny/exciting people."
