You can stay working, but don't lead this "independent" life in your LTR. Guys naturally lead relationships and without that leadership you'll lose interest in him. Basically, treat your man with respect and don't try and clip his balls, like most women do.

Best way to attract is to act feminine around him and try and get his attention w/o seeming like a slut. If he perceives you as a slut, he'll pump and dump you.

If you're truly a spectacular woman, not just a woman with alpha male qualities. Then your personal best bet would be to have more than 1 beta bucks in tail, and seek to find the best male to provide offspring.

That, or lock down the best alpha you can and give him your youth for commitment and life partnership.

How old are you? You need to keep in mind your limited window for attracting alpha males. Have you considered locking down a beta for a LTR and just getting what you want on the side? Not like they would dump you even if they found out, which isn't likely.

In order to success in the men's world, women have to adopt masculine traits such as assertive and non-agreeable. Masculine women aren't attractive to men though. It's a curse for career women who want to have both.

There is away to get around this though, and that is to be masculine in your office but revert back to being a "woman" when you're with your SO. Be dominant when dealing with your employees but be submissive when you're around your man is the way to go.

That is, if you don't find beta male attractive and want to attract ALPHA.

This will always happen to you judging by the way you describe yourself.

I'd say it's next to impossible for you to get an alpha and stay with him. Even if you were willing to take the necessary steps you probably won't succeed.

"Alpha" female is almost always code for: "unrelenting, entitled brat." You have failed to snag a high value man because you don't understand how to be a high value woman.

Translation: I don't need a man, no one bosses me around.

Consequence: If you don't need a man, then you are closing yourself off from the possibility of ever stepping back and allowing a man to be your rock. High value men want to lead - and before you even get out of the gate, you've made that completely impossible.

Translation: I think making money makes me attractive to successful, good men.

Consequence: Men don't care what you make. That you earn money is of no consequence to them. It's like saying "I breathe air" and expecting men to be attracted to you for it. Best case scenario, they appreciate the fact that you know how to operate like a normal adult, but it's far more likely that they just don't care. Worst case scenario, stressing how much money you make and pushing the whole "I own a business" thing will make men avoid you. When women say things like that, men hear "You can never be a top priority to me, and my work will always be more important than our relationship and your needs."

And before you try to come up with a counter-argument, allow me to point something out: I am a small business owner. I have a very demanding job and work long hours during my busy seasons, but you know what? My SO is always a priority and I value our relationship. I know it's not my company that caught his eye - it was my personality and looks.

Translation: No one is going to tell me to do anything, ever. I will constantly vie for dominance and power in the relationship.

Consequence: Quality men see you as a bad investment. While some may enjoy butting heads occasionally - most men want a woman that's selfless. She makes him a priority, and respects his wishes. She listens to what he says and trusts him to take the lead.

That doesn't mean you become a mindless mute with no brain capacity though. A good woman is proactive, she is capable of solving problems and planning ahead. She's selfless, pleasant to be around, and supports her Captain.

You can be a driven and successful woman in the professional realm and be a supportive, loving, selfless, and competent SO/Wife. I've never understood why women think the two are mutually exclusive. How you treat other men is different from how you treat your SO/Husband. You can keep the the successful CEO hat since it sounds really important to you - but you have to learn how to be supportive and softer within a relationship. Men want to feel supported, they desire women that trust them to lead, not a competing entity fighting for control.

Date a lot of men and date them for a long time to really get to know them. Have many options and make sure that they know that you have options. You'll weed out the closet betas and any true alphas will appreciate having fun with you while knowing that they're not responsible to you. Eventually you'll find someone with the right compatibility and balance of power, someone who gets it and isn't insecure because you didn't have the traditional, fantasy courtship.

There are emotional risks, of course. But if you truly are an alpha female, then you should be able to keep that in check.
