21F here. Having read a lot about pickup, game, and just seeing in subs like this one how many men are afraid of rejection or are shy to approach, I really appreciate it when a guy engages in a conversation with me. I try to smile and to be engaging, to keep the conversation going, etc. Most of the time it's in settings like school and work, but I'll notice as the weeks go by that they don't seem interested in anything more than being platonic.

On the opposite (and not proud of this), I've met some men who annoyed me but I had no choice to interact with them, so I gave a standoffish vibe, almost bitchy. Yet, these men were running after me relentlessly, asking me out and still pursuing me, even after I turned them down.

To be fair I was not interested in the men in the first scenario, so I gave off a purely friendly and platonic vibe. Could it be why they were sending me back that same vibe?

It's a sad observation and makes me think it's why so many women play "hard to get" or come off as bitchy. Maybe they just have more men interested in them when that happens.

What do you think?

tl;dr: Do bitchy girls have more success because of "the chase"?
