Me and my girlfriend of 2 years broke up recently due to her acting inappropriate with some guy (not cheating, but if I had let it go it would have evolved into that) as well as broken down communication.

I wanted to go NC, but I'm enticed by the idea of keeping in contact with her to improve my sexual performance (I lost my virginity with her), in return, she says she wants to be able to talk to me when she feels like she needs me. And to be honest, it's hard getting rid of someone who you've spoken to every day for 2 years.

I'm moving to university halls in 2 weeks, and if I push I'll probably have sex at least once between that time. After I go to university, I plan to reduce contact gradually until I'm able to have no feelings for her, and be able to use her for sex and nothing else. Is it worth it though? Or am I just wasting my time with her?
