I see many posts suggesting volunteering as a great way to network, meet new plates, and increase SMV. As I've recently moved to a new city for work and know no one, I'm looking to start volunteering, but I'm at a loss for ideas.

So TRP, where do you volunteer your free time, and why is it awesome?
