Hey guys, a little info, I'm 21 years old, 6' 3" 187 lbs, I'm pretty lean and in pretty healthy shape with my body fat percentage around 14-15%.
I work 55 hours a week as a landscaper (I'm not talking lawncare, but a lot of lifting, laying paving stones, digging, etc). I also get my cardio in by running a mile up hill before work 3 times a week.
So my goal is to finally get noticeably muscular for my height by bulking up to 225 lbs and then get my body fat down to 10-12%.
I want to join a gym and lift heavy (deadlifts, bench press, squat, etc) like they always recommend here, but I would like your guy's advice on how to learn correct form, what are some resources you guys use to prevent getting some sort of chronic injury from incorrect form?
I realize there is no substitute for hard work and I'm willing to put in years of extremely hard work to not only look my best but to increase my strength. I simply do not want to get some sort of chronic injury so that it would hinder my performance in the long run.
I appreciate any input/personal experience/warnings/advice.
Thank you.
