Is "hi" really enough?

You're enough! But here is my recommendation....Try and make assumption about a girl as soon as you open...wrong or right , it doesn't matter. Try and minimise asking questions...then whatever response you get , try and tease her or have a story you can relate with depending on her answer. Try practising this way and you will get better and better..

The 'just say 'hi' thing is kind of pointless advice in a way. I mean, Everyone knows that and it doesn't need to be said. When people ask for advice about how to open and get told 'just say 'hi'!, they realise that that isn't really what they wanted to know. They wanted to know how to start and actual conversation! So, what to say after the open!

I think opening with hi, and then telling them they're cute is fine. But going for the number straight after that is likely not gonna work unless you are seriously fucking handsome!

You need to be able to start a conversation with her and have a chat which is where everyone actually fucks up, doesn't know what to say/talk about, and just has an awkward, stilted conversation! (including me)

"Hi" is simply what you say, but of course that in itself is not enough. It is how you present it, which is where both your inner and outer games come into play.

Openers arent that important. As long as you can get them talking it isnt too big of a deal. Your game once you start talking is probably more important.

You can literally say anything as an opener. It's all about the perception you give off. If you're a confident guy who has something to say and doesn't give a fuck about her response, she will be a lot more into you.

I've gone up to a group of girls and opened with, "I'm about to ruin your friendship." "What's up I'm Dro."

Watch those videos where guys approach girls with stupid openers and still end up getting the number.
