Try and escalate physically. If she likes you, she won't mind if you're a bit quiet. She wants a guy who has big balls between his legs, not her chat buddy. If she calls you out on it repeatedly then I'd say you're just incompatiable. You can still attempt to have sex with her if you wish, but she might not be relationship material if she's telling you to "talk more" this early on. Keep in control.

The only text to set up dates rule is really outdated.

Don't overtext and have her text more than you, but do text. Of course, aim to meet her in person, but nothing wrong about texting frequently.

DO NOT text her except to set up dates. Notice what she said to your friend "We aren't texting/talking enough." What does that mean? It means she wants to text/talk with you. IF SHE TEXTS you then sure TEXT BACK. BUT clearly you have a better shot at another DATE--where you can be making out--if she WANTS TO TEXT/TALK with you.

Imagine the situation where you're both texting and talking with each other. Guess what? When you ask her out--she'll say--I'm busy BUDDY. Instead of "LET ME MAKE SOME TIME SO I CAN GET BACK TO THIS GUY." See the difference?

You're doing the right thing.
