I've been invited to a party this weekend by this girl I've been hanging out with for the past month.

We've been building a lot of connection and certainly there's strong physical attraction on both sides. As far as I can tell, we're definitely heading towards something serious.

Her friends are going to attend the party as well, and I know that girls tend to be judgemental about their peers' dates.

I'm definitely not trying to be someone I'm not. It just happens that it's my first party and, moreover, my first party with a date and her friends.

I want to hear from folks who have been in a similar situation. Do you even bother trying to be friendly with her friends? Or do you focus on her all the time?
