In short no, we don’t need to do anything.
We have needs, but they don’t need to met or obtained in any specific way.
Do we need to workout and stay healthy? Yes
Do we need to go workout a specific way? No
Do we need companionship? Yes
Do we need companionship from a specific person or in a specific way? No
Do we need money? Yes
Do we need to make money in a specific way? No
You get my gist.
Ever heard the phrase “There’s six million ways to die”
Here’s another perspective, there’s six million ways to live.
There’s hundreds if not thousands of ways to do anything and no way is right or wrong.
We’re too insecure to try something new because we don’t like failure. We’d much rather be comfortably uncomfortable in one thing while complaining that we wish it was different. Rather than try something new yet more fulfilling and suck at it until we get competent.
If we look back to our rawest forms when we were babies, we failed when we first tried to walk and talk.
Didn’t stop us though. We instinctively knew we needed to walk and talk in order to live a more fulfilling life.
There was no one to tell us “we need to learn to walk and talk in a specific way” Even if they did, we just ignored them and instinctively used our own methods anyway.
So when someone tells you, you need to do this specific thing to make money, get laid, become successful, ignore them. They don’t have the answer for you, they only have the answer for themselves.
They’re only saying what worked for them and not what failed. What failed for them could be something that works for you.
You want a certain type of lay/relationship? Talk to more people until you instinctively find what you’re looking for.
You want to make more money? Develop skills that instinctively align with you into a profitable career
You want to become successful? Now this is a funny one cause what the fuck does that mean? Everyone has a different measure of success
You want to be successful? Find out what success means to you first and work towards it.
Success for one person could be a mansion with 20 bad bitches, while for another it could be a nice home and family.
Neither are wrong
The reason I’m being as vague as possible is cause I don’t have all the answers. I don’t have a fucking clue but at least I ain’t gonna act like I do.
No one has a clue. Not your family, friends, and especially these social media gurus/bloggers.
They just poured passion and effort into stuff and it worked. Then rinsed and repeated it in other aspects of their lives.
The moral of the story is, I don’t know. Nobody knows and that’s okay.
I don’t know how to make your life more fulfilling and I don’t want to know. That’s your job, I’m not your dad.
Find out what your needs are and work towards having them met that align with you.
Don’t be an entitled child and expect others to bring fulfilment to your lives.
TLDR, Touch grass and figure out your lives your own fucking selves instead of complaining about how fucked up the world is and how someone else could, should and would fix it.
