No, moderation is not for losers.

Contrary to most beliefs, life is not a competition. Being overly competitive in every aspect of your life is not healthy nor sustainable in the long run. I know this as I am an extremely competitive person.

That’s why everyone is so miserable these days, Suicide, depression and anxiety rates are so high.

They’re focused on a pointless rat race in every aspect of their lives. All while those with true power sit back, laugh and pit you all against each other.

“This person in fucked 10 girls this month, I must fuck 20 otherwise I’m not an alpha”

“This person benches 220lbs, I must bench 300lbs otherwise I’m weak”

“This person makes $100,000 a year I gotta make triple that otherwise I’m not enough”

Look, all I’m saying is, it’s important to be competitive about things you’re PASSIONATE about, but life is not a competition. You’ll literally start competing about things you don’t care about with people you don’t care about.

As a result, when things don't go your way, which at some point they won't because nobody is perfect. You will feel like shit.

THE 80/20 RULE

Look up the 80/20 rule, I’ll explain it briefly.

20% of criminals commit 80% of crimes.

20% of drivers cause 80% of all traffic accidents.

80% of pollution originates from 20% of all factories.

20% of a companies products represent 80% of sales.

20% of employees are responsible for 80% of the results

80% of your competitive energy should go into 20% of things your passionate about.

As a result those 20% passions will yield 80% of your life success results.

80% of results comes from 20% of the efforts.

Almost everyone here has a job. All your managers and directors do is tell you guys what to do which requires 20% effort yet they reap 80% of the rewards. All while you “competitive” guys slave away and run around doing 80% of the work yet reap 20% of the rewards.

80% of the women you hooked up with only required 20% effort because they were that into you.

Workout 7 days a week like a monster if you like, while I work out 3-4 days consistently.

Who you think is more likely to get burnt out/injured which, in the long term is worse?

Even if you want to say “well at least I’ll get the physique faster”. Sure you’ll get the physique faster but I’m gonna get it too, eventually.

If I’m going to be going to the gym for the rest of my life I might as well enjoy the process.

It’s not the gym that contributes 80% to having an amazing physique. It’s the DIET.

It’s the diet which is 20% of the effort that gives me 80% of the results.

Being overly competitive in every aspect of life is pointless.

It is important to grow but goddamn, stop smell the roses and enjoy life sometimes. You only get one.
